Portage Lightning U12 Girls Win Elite League.
Congratulations to the U12 Girls team coached by Liz VanderSloot and Lloyd McGruder
on finishing in first place in the Elite League, which consists of the strongest
teams from GVSA (Grand Valley Soccer Association in west central Michigan),
CASL (Capital Area Soccer League in central Michigan), and WMYSA (West Michigan
Youth Soccer Association in our area). Portage finished ahead of strong teams
including Fruitport Fire, Georgetown, and the Grand Rapids Crew. Great going
girls!!
